    When I heard of such a stupid idea, immediately the names “Roland Emmerich, Mario Kassar, and Michael Bay came to mind. Only they would be willing to bring such stupidity to the screen.

    If I recall, I think Emmerich is behind it, possible Kassar too. Seeing as they often work together.
    If I were to ever decide to watch it, it would have to be a free downloading. I don’t want a cent of my money to go it.

    I have spoken with the current Mayans in Guatemala about the matter. They weren’t concerned about 2012, so neither am I. I know the movie will probably conflict and twist Mayan writings in order to get a thrill.
