Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince + Order Of The Phoenix?

What do you guys think will be cut out of the sixth movie? I was so mad when they cut out practically EVERYTHING in the fifth movie, anything that wasnt necessary (I thought it was necessary!) And how excited are you about the movie coming out in july?
What parts do you think should have stayed in the fifth movie? What was your opinion on most of the things being cut out? And–was it just me, or did the characters say hardly anything? Every scene, Harry or whoever said a couple of lines then left, and if there were more lines to a scene, they were usually spaced apart. Am I the only one who thinks this?

  1. Fifth movie was worst of them all , so far.

I think ever since the REAL dumbledore died the films have started getting worse. (the dumbledore in the first two movies)

  2. i loved the fifth movie, but i do think they cut out too much of it. hopefully they don’t cut out too much from the half blood prince, that is the best book i have read of the series yet. i still haven’t read the seventh one…=/

I am a Harry Potter fanatic :> I was kinda disappointed with the Order of the Phoenix. I felt that it was too fast and left out the feelings in the book. In the fifth movie..hopefully, they will keep in the scene where Snape ask Harry about that spell. I just hope that they keep this scene in. I get so worried since the books have deviated so much from the books (with the exception of books one and two) that the fifth movie may not look or flow like the book at all. I haven’t read any of the comments on the fifth movie (I am trying to avoid them) and am bracing for a totally different spin than what has happened in the book. Through some friends, I did hear that they were going to put a wedding scene in but it wasn’t going to be Bill and Fleur…that it will be Lupkin and Tonks. And..no you are right..they didn’t really say anything in the Order of the Phoenix it was all action. Let’s keep our fingers cross for “more words” this time.

  4. Nope, I agree with you completely. it more like a montage than a movie. I knew they’d have to cut out a lot of stuff, but to make the longest book into the shortest movie? That just doesn’t make sense.

At the least, they should have left in tact the final scene where Harry goes off on Dumbledore. After how badly he’s treated through everything, you need him losing it a little…he’s earned it. Plus, you need more emotional impact from him discovering the prophecy.

As far as the half blood prince, I would perfectly okay if they cut out a lot of the adolescent boy-girl drama. But, if they leave it in, I’ll understand that the movie is aimed toward teens and not to me. But, they can’t cut short any of the pensieve visions even a little bit.

  5. these movies are such a sell-out i refuse to watch another one!!!! THey add nothing what -so -ever to the books, and ruin the books in a way because the visual image from the movies is hard to wipe from inside your skull, it overrides ur imagination when reading the books. F**k off and stop making movies JK.

OOTP ****** so badly it was like a rehersal of the actual movie
