Lucy Hill (Renée Zellweger) is an ambitious, up and coming executive living in Miami. She loves her shoes, she enjoys her cars and she enjoys climbing up the corporate ladder. When she is offered a temporary duty assignment - in the middle of nowhere - to restructure a manufacturing plant, she leaps at the chance, recognizing that a big advancement is close at hand.
