Star Trek *vs* Transformers 2?

At first i thought Transformers (1st movie) was going to be a boring movie until when i first watched it. Then when the movie was over.. i told myself.. wait a second… i like this movie pretty good. That is how i know i will like Transformers 2.
I like Star Trek.. but not anymore for other reasons.

If we were talking about “just another Star Trek movie”, I’d agree with you, but from what I’ve seen so far in the previews, J.J. Abrams has injected some new life into this new Star Trek movie. It looks even more action-packed than “The Wrath of Khan” and I think it will give “Transformers 2″ a run for its money. I’d say it’s too early to tell which will be the box office champion.

well, both look to be a new movie, the star trek movie will feature a whole new cast while the transformers will stick with theirs.
Star trek will feature James Kirk, and Spock backstories before they fight Nero on the USS Enterprise
Transformers will feature Sam finding some kind of secret of the transformer life and the decepticons revive megatron and capture sam to gain the knowledge.
transformers has the mass appeal. it is a sequel, its a massive blockbuster and megan fox and shia labeouf are both bigger stars now. star trek is a bit more niche, some would say geeky, and it doesnt quite have the star names or the spectacle transformers 2 has
