It could be “Love Me If You Dare” aka “Jeux d’enfants” (2003). The protagonists have concrete (Is that what you meant?) poured on them at the end of the film, their final dare. It can be viewed as symbolic or actual though the latter is doubtful, as those pouring the concrete would be committing murder.
I checked at IMDb, but it doesn’t list a reference to “Love Me If You Dare”. These are what IMDb lists:
References
Magnificent Obsession (1954)
- In Mateo’s DVD collection
Ascenseur pour l’échafaud (1958)
- Mateo says he wants to watch it.
Peeping Tom (1960)
- As Mateo Blanco is filming, someone says “You’re like ‘Peeping Tom’”. There is an earlier scene that resembles a scene from Peeping Tom.
8½ (1963)
- In Mateo’s DVD collection
Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios (1988)
- The film within a film ‘Girls And Suitcases’ is loosely based on Pedro Almodóvar’s own film Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios (1988).
Features
Viaggio in Italia (1954)
- On TV.

So, I’m not absolutely positive because I haven’t gotten to see “Broken Embraces”, as it has not been on any of the movie channels I subscribe to. If “concentrate” means “concrete”, it could be the film I suggested.
